The goal of architecture is not to invent anything. Everything is borrowed and everything will be handed over to those who come after us. Our goal as architects is to reinterpret what out predecessors left, adapt it to our time, and to continue writing a story that has began long ago, always with a collective and social approach.

The intervention in Piazza d’Arco will bring to light an ancient medieval “tale”, long forgotten and hidden under layers of ‘civilisation’. The ancient church of Sant’Ambrogio, demolished in the 18th century after standing for 800 years, will be reborn from its rubble to once again become part of the space it once knew.
